All of our bentwood rings are meticulously hand crafted using the steam bent lamination process. thin sheets of long grain wood are cut and then heated with steam to make them pliable. the wood strip is then carefully bent around a mandrel and carefully glue in place. the resulting band is made up of several layers of grain wrapping around itself to make an extremely strong and durable band. We then carefully sand it smooth and add your choice of inlay and personalization options. our rings are finished with a durable resin that is water proof but care should be taken to not scratch the finish and exposure to water and chemicals should be kept to a minimum. if the finish does get scratched or worn over time we do offer a ring refinishing option.
